When the going gets tough! The VILOTEL and Trailschmiede Ostalb have regularly put their heads together for over a year. The collaboration kicked off with a joint run in the fall of 2023, which was designed to appeal to TRAILRUNNERS in the region. In April 2024, the first trail running camp took place on the Ostalb with the VILOTEL as a base camp, which was immediately received with enthusiasm from near and far. And because the response was so great... preparations are already underway for the Trailrunning Camp 2025-SAVE THE DATE 11.-13.04.2025
What does trail running actually mean?
Simply put: running off-road/in the great outdoors - away from paved paths. Trail running does not necessarily mean mountain running. The nearby paths through the forest or the city park are also trail running.
Trail running and VILOTEL simply go together - we also occasionally take paths that have not yet been used or prepared.
